Postcard with a black and white photograph of the ice plant after the 1911 tornado on the front. Photograph depicts the damaged ice plant up close with a man standing in front of it. At the left side "Ice Plant After Tornado Lawrence KS. 4/12/1911 2" is printed in white ink. On the back is a note to Mrs. E.R. Gaffurd in Oak Hill, Kansas from her mother in Lawrence, Kansas. Note states that the photograph was taken the day after the storm. Postmarked April 15, 1911.
