Postcard with a black and white photograph of a train in high water on the front. Photograph depicts the train traveling on railroad tracks submerged in water. A black strip is at the bottom of the photograph with "High Water caused by Ice Jam. Lawrence" printed in white ink. "B.M." is signed at the right corner. A note is written on the back to Miss Emma Keister in La Crosse, Kansas from C.M. in Lawrence, Kansas. Note is about how the flood was due to all the ice on the Kansas River. Postmarked February 9, 1910. Information on when and from whom the postcard was acquired is on the back, 10/20/1986 from Honde.
