Segments from an interview with Nancy Vogel conducted by Kaye McIntyre of Kansas Public Radio for a KPR special commemorating the thirty-year anniversary of the 1983 broadcast of The Day After, a made-for-TV movie depicting the aftermath of nuclear war, which was set and filmed primarily in Lawrence, Kansas. The KPR special aired on November 12, 2013. The interview was conducted at the Watkins Museum of History on June 28, 2012. Vogel was involved in the filming of the Dahlberg farmhouse scene. She describes the filming. Including the incongruity of a motorcycle driving through the old farmyard.
