Postcard with a black and white photograph of the 600 block of Massachusetts Street after the 1911 tornado on the front. In the photograph the H. Thompson, Photographer building is at the right. At the bottom is a black bar with "8985A Part of 60 Block, Mass. St., Lawrence, Kans" is printed in white ink. A white border is around the entire photograph. On the back in the middle "Mfgd. by M.L. Zercher Book and Stationery Co., Topeka, Kansas" is printed sideways in black ink. A note is written on the back to Mrs. Sara Osborn in Selma, Kansas from Lawrence, Kansas. Postmarked June 25, 1911. Information on when and from whom the postcard was acquired is on the back, 10/4/1986 from L.T. OHara.
